Before
A working speaker, missing one specific stage
Ife was already a professional speaker before we started working together. She had never done a TEDx Talk and really wanted to book one. She didn't know how to get on that stage and felt she needed to pick "the right topic" for it. Multipassionate by nature, picking the correct topic and the right stories felt like a lot of pressure.
The challenge
A TEDx talk that doubles as a marketing asset
Ife didn't just want a great TEDx Talk. She wanted the talk to become a strategic marketing asset for her business long-term — but her business is broader than any one keynote topic. The throughline had to do both jobs.
What we built
TEDx-level storytelling, brand-level throughline
We layered stories strategically, connected them back to the throughline, built emotional build-up and worked through audience psychology — moving her past inspirational delivery into impactful delivery. We chose a throughline that created impact on stage AND supported her brand, message and positioning far beyond the TEDx stage itself. And we positioned her strategically for bigger speaking opportunities.
“
"I spent months looking for the best speaker coach I could find. Someone who truly understood storytelling, TEDx talks and impactful communication on a deep level. Working with Laurie was fantastic — she didn't just help me create a TEDx Talk, she helped me understand how to really create a talk with lasting impact. I've been a paid speaker for years, but this really stepped up my game."
After
TEDx in 4 weeks — and a year of paid keynotes
Within just 4 weeks Ife landed her TEDx Talk and stood on the red dot. From the TEDx momentum she got many paid keynotes that same year — and stepped up her game as a speaker she'd already been for years.
